Ranchers-turned-photographers, our world revolves around: our Craftsman-style farmhouse; our adorable son, Knox; coffee in the kitchen; Edison lights on the back porch; and a French Bulldog who thinks he runs the show.
collaborations (and the best photos) are based on mutual respect, love, and trust. We’ve traveled this road many times before. Trust us to see you on your way down the aisle and beyond.
If marriage is a journey, we're here to help you pack. And the photos? They’ll be your picture-perfect postcards of a beautiful beginning. Souvenirs to have and to hold for years to come.
Congratulations. You've found something real with each other and we couldn't be more excited. The way the sunlight bounces of his hair. The way your hand fits in his. The right photography coaxes even the shyest detail out into the light for all to see. It allows you to travel back to that moment whenever your heart desires.
Your unique style led you to discover us, and we're thrilled that we now have each other. The best collaborations

Young Brahman calves run through the pastures on the cattle ranch we live on.
Luke, Cat, and Knox Neumayr, 2017
Our adventure first began over a decade ago when we met at a cattle show in South Dakota. Little did we know, we would eventually trade in our boots and spurs for cameras and cakes.
Two years later: Fate insists we meet again. Luke seizes the moment and programs his number into Cat's cell phone as “The Coolest Luke Ever.” Wasn't he? In protest, she proclaims: “Good Southern girls don't call boys!” But when has true love ever listened to the rules?
Two more years later: We are dating across state lines. Living for long-distance phone calls and fleeting weekends together. Writing love letters by hand in the digital age. Those letters spell out one singular truth: we are meant to be.
Luke joins the Aggie family, enrolling at Texas A&M. Then, he proposes and joins the family once more: To have and to hold, from this day forward, to cherish English bulldogs, to love mac'n'cheese, and to walk hand in hand under the big Texas sky ‘til death do they part.
What happens after “I Do?” A bustling household. A never-ending list of home improvement projects. Millions of frequent flyer miles. A growing family with the addition of two English Bulldogs:
Wilma and Hudson.
There's nothing like a love story. The dream is in the details. As far as we're concerned, we have the best job in the world, the honor of documenting and celebrating love. (And, we get to eat lots and lots of wedding cake.)
April 2014 in Tucson, Arizona for Holly and Coby's wedding.
The number of states we've traveled to for weddings (14 if you count the Dominican Republic and Mexico!)
The number of states we've traveled to for weddings, only to realize that Luke forgot to pack his dress socks.
The number of chairs we've balanced on to get the perfect shot of the dance party.
The number of times we've woke up in the middle of the night mumbling the lyrics to "All The Single Ladies."
The number of times Cat has cried during the mother-son dance.
The number of times Cat's mascara has run. Makeup genius!
The number of perfect days we've been privileged to play a part in. Perhaps one more — yours!
Thanksgiving 2013 at Luke & Cat's House
We spend so much time behind the camera, we make sure to hop in front once a year to document our own lives. If Coca-Cola bottles happiness, cameras capture joy. Whether it’s for us (or for future children and grandchildren), life’s best moments deserve to be remembered. Photos by Millie Holloman.
When wanderlust strikes, we hit the highway. 22 hours of driving will get us to our favorite vacation spot - Bald Head Island, NC.
We live in an early 1900s farmhouse that was Cat's grandparents' wedding gift to us. Wherever our travels take us, we're always glad to be home.
Our son Knox was born in 2017 and is the joy of our life. We would bring him along to weddings, but we're afraid he might steal the show!
Our favorite time of day? Cupcake o’clock. Sprinkles red velvet, cream cheese icing, and a tall glass of milk are the best reward at the end of a long day!
Wilma and Hudson, our English bulldogs, look great in tuxedos and love to eat cake, but they stay home when we work.
A bottle of wine and some snacks, Van Morrison on the turntable, and friends gathered ‘round. It’s our definition of a perfect evening.
We look for beauty that comes from the inside, not for your ‘best side’. We look for unfiltered truth and soft-filtered light. We look for genuine moments with friends and family that will evoke fond memories. We look for joy. We value real faces more than Facebook. We value genuine interest more than Pinterest. We value real flowers, real wedding albums, and real time. Most of all, we value you.
A lasting marriage begins with an enduring friendship; so does a partnership with us. And just like any partnership, it only works when we both feel that special spark. It's like finding the right wine for dinner. The right shoes for the dress. The one you'll love forever.
We meet a lot of couples, but we don't work with all of them. If the spark isn't there, we say goodbye and good luck. Why? Because the best things in life are worth waiting for, and that includes you.
We'll find out if that kinship is there, and if it is—we're ready and willing to fall head over heels. We'll have you over to the ranch for wine and cheese, coffee and conversation, laughter and celebration.
By the time you say, “I do,” we'll be at your wedding not just as photographers, but also as friends. Because once we find that special connection, we're in it for life.
You know what's important—friends, family, your fianceé, and the occasional bowl of Kraft macaroni and cheese (Okay, that last one might only be on Luke's list!). You value hard work and tough love and the tenderness of true connection. You're a blend of perfectly matched contradictions: cowboy boots under a delicate lace dress, a glass of sweet tea in your Grandma’s best crystal. You've been looking forward to this day your whole life.
You believe in destiny. Your unique style led you to discover us, and we can't wait to help you on your journey. We've traveled this road many times before, and we're here to help you now, on your way down an aisle, and beyond.
